After living in Minnesota for 15 years, Tony found Saint Paul the right place to call home. He has lived on the East Side for more than five years and is very active politically and in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of the Parks and Trails of Saint Paul and Ramsey County, the District 1 Community Council Land Use Committee and the Hmong American Partnership Executive Board.
Tony has worked on issues of sustainability, parks, renewable energy and criminal justice. He is passionate about Saint Paul politics and where Saint Paul is heading.
He joined Saint Paul STRONG in 2017 because he believes in accountability, transparency and most importantly, leadership as it’s defined academically. He believes being a leader means being a servant, compromising, welcoming every voice and avoiding the “my way or the highway” mindset.
Tony is an advocate and political strategist who has worked on topics relevant to Saint Paul such as the impact of the minimum wage on small business. He holds a B.S. in Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Political Leadership.
